First, let me thank you for all the work you put into making this the very best China tour ever. We had a great time, from the moment we met michael at the airport in Beijing, until we sadly had to say "goodbye" to Helen at the airport in Shanghai. Everything was perfect, and I am already trying to figure out how I am going to manage my next trip to PRC.
All of our guides were outstanding. Eah went out of their way to insure that we would have only the very best, even to the point of getting us special treatment at airport check-ins. All of our guides escorted us not only to the check-in counter, but took the responsibility of dealing with the airline agent, making certain that all of our seating requests were met, and made sure that we got through airport security safely and quickly. These folks were great!
Our hotels were all very special. There were noi issues on this subject, and in particular, the change you arranged for us to stay at The Bund Hotel in Shanghai was brilliant. what a great location, and the hotel was outstanding.
The choices that the guides made relative to our meals never was a disappointment. All of our meals were memorable, and everyone had a great time.
I think we gave Helen in Suzhou and Shanghai a few problems, but she dealt with everything like a pro. By the time we arrived in Suzhou, we were getting tired, and had allready been to a silk factory in Guilin. When she shared the itinerary with us, including the visit to the local silk factory, we told her that what we really wanted to do was tour the Master of the Nets Garden, and take the Canal Tour, but after that we wanted to get an early start for Shanghai. I think she was afraid that somehow we were missing out on something that we should have done, but as a group, we had decided that getting on to Shanghai, and missing the silk factory tour in Suzhou was something we had decided to do.
In closing, let me once again thank you, and everyone at Grand China Travel, You not only saved our trip in 2009, but additionally, you made this most recent trip the very best ever.
When ever we talked to other groups of travellers, I always shared with them that they would have been so much better off if they had arranged there time in China with Grand China Travel; no one is better
In a few weeks, I plan to start organizing my next visit to China, and will be in touch.
