Tour Package Inclusions 

1: Flights
China's domestic flights as specified in the itinerary are based on economy class and our package prices already include airport tax and fuel tax. If you want to fly first class or business class, please contact your GCT tour consultant.

2: Hotel Accommodations
Hotel accommodation is based on two persons sharing one standard twin room with private facilities or three persons sharing one standard twin or double room with extra bed. If a single client requests a room alone, the single room supplement will be charged. If you want to stay at executive rooms or suite rooms, please contact GCT tour consultant and we are more than happy to give you a quote.

3: Meals
For the land tour in each city, daily Buffet breakfast is served at the hotel, lunch and/or dinner will be served at local restaurants. All meal arrangements are served as the itinerary specifies (B = breakfast, L = lunch, D = dinner).

4: Land Transportations
Private transfers for you and the group between airports, hotels and all sightseeing spots are included. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges. For two travelers, we will arrange a private car; for three to six travelers we will arrange a van such as Toyota Hiace; for over seven travelers, we will arrange various kinds of buses, from 17 seats to 51 seat buses.

5: Tour Guide
One private English-speaking guide will accompany you on all normal sightseeing tours in each city. We can also arrange French, Germen, Spanish, Indonesian, Russian and Japanese language speaking tour guides upon your request.

6: Admission fees during sightseeing
Our quotation includes the entrance fee for all the sightseeing places mentioned in our itinerary.

7: Other fees
The Tibet Travel Permit application fee applicable if you are traveling to Tibet.
Chinese government taxes applicable to your travel are included.
Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance with the tour inside China.

Tour Package Exclusions 

1: International flights
GCT tour quotation price does not include the air charge of arrival in the first city of the tour and departure from the last city of the tour. You need to purchase your own international flight ticket from your home country to China and from China back to your home country.

2: Personal expense
GCT tour quotation price does not include expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, drink, telex, telephone calls or excess baggage charge and purchase of souvenirs on the trip.

Child Price

For children under 12 years of age at the day of arrival in China traveling with parents, 80% of the adult price will be charged if the child is occupying bed; 60% of the adult price will be charged if the child is not occupying bed. Infant (below 2 years of age) will be free of charge.

Deposit

To secure a booking GCT requires a completed booking form and the necessary deposit (Full payment for travel within 30 days). A deposit of USD200 per person is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation. Reservation will automatically be canceled if the deposit is not received by GCT within one week after confirmation of the reservation. By sending the deposit, you agree to be bound by GCT Terms and Conditions.

Clients booking by telephone, on the website, by e-mail or facsimile will be deemed to have agreed to the following four conditions:
1: They have read and accepted our Booking Conditions and general information pages, contained on this website.
2: They appreciate, on behalf of all the people included in their booking, the risks involved in the package they have chosen.
3: They or anyone else on their booking does not suffer (or has ever suffered) from any pre-existing medical condition which may prevent them from actively participating in the tour.
4: The person signing, or being deemed to sign, the attached booking form (which incorporates these terms) warrants that he/she has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear thereon, and confirms         that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions.
5: A booking is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when GCT sends a confirmation invoice. It is at this point that a contract between GCT and the client comes into existence. Before your booking is confirmed and a contract comes into force, GCT reserves the right to increase or decrease website prices.
6: Final payment of the total tour fare is due 30 days prior to your departure date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and deposit will be forfeited. In the case of non-payment of the balance by the due date Grand China Travel reserves the right to cancel your booking and cancellation charges will apply.

Payment Procedures

1: Cash Payment
You can pay us in US dollar cash or Chinese Yuan if this payment is convenient to you. For China City Packages, you can arrange cash payment (in US dollar or Chinese Yuan) to our tour guide upon meeting him or her at hotel lobby before the start of the tour. Our published tour rate is in US dollar, you can convert to Chinese Yuan based on the official exchange rate of Bank of China.

2: Payment by Paypal
After you have confirmed the amount of payment for the services provided by GCT, you may log on www.paypal.com for the payment of deposit and balance payment. If you have a Paypal account, all you need to do is to login to your Paypal account and click the “pay” button. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can still pay us at Paypal’s website by providing your credit card information. Paypal accepts all major credit card and debit card.

Please note that there is a 4% surcharge using Paypal. So you have to add in the 4% surcharge to your calculations. After you send us the money, please tell us the full name of the remitter and sum of money, an official receipt will be sent to you by email.

3: Payment by Western Union
With more than 150 years of experience, Western Union is the global leader in money transfer services. If there is Western Union Service in the area where you live, GCT highly recommend you to pay us through Western Union because it is fastest way. After you send us the money, please inform us the full name of the remitter, sum of money, details of your address, and also the Money Transfer Control Number provided by Western Union.

4: By Wire Transfer (TT)
Wire transfer, also called cable transfer can be done at almost all banks. What you need to do is to go to your bank and fill in a form to provide the bank with our account information.

Note: It is highly recommended that you ask your local bank to follow the information word by word. Please just write Grand China Travel Inc under beneficiary name. It is required that the bank slip of money transfer form to be faxed or send to us through email after it is scanned. When you email or fax us the bank slip, please carefully check your tour code on the booking form and write the tour code on the bank slip.

GCT Receipt

GCT will inform you timely when your payment reaches our bank account and an official receipt from Grand China Travel Inc will be sent to you then.

Changes and Cancellations

The reservation deposit of USD200.00 per person is non-refundable if the client makes cancellation of the tour but it may be applied for your next trip within 24 months. The reservation deposit will not be calculated into the charge of the cancellation percentage.

The cancellation penalty will be a certain percentage of the tour price. 50 days to 30 days before the arrival day, the penalty is 20%; 29 days to 15 days is 50%; 14 days to 8 days is 70%; 7 days to arrival day is 100%. After the tour begins, any extra charges caused by clients' changes will be added, as air cancellation fee, hotel cancellation penalty, etc. Any unused portion is neither refundable nor exchangeable. If the client cancels the trip, the client must notify us by mail or by fax. Oral cancellation by phone is not acceptable. All refunds to the client will be processed within 20 days of receipt of your cancellation. If GCT cancels a tour due to circumstances beyond its control, Grand China Travel will find an alternative tour for the client or refund all money paid.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory if you want to travel with us. If you have an existing medical condition, you have to declare it to your insurers, and get written confirmation that you are insured for it. Clients together with their personal property including baggage are at all times solely at their own risk. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance.

Responsibility

The responsibility of GCTl, parent company and affiliated companies is strictly limited. As a tour operator, GCT organizes, promotes, and sells tour programs consisting of certain travel services, including guide service, surface transportation, air transportation, water transportation, excursions and accommodations that we purchase or reserve from various suppliers. The suppliers providing services for our tour programs are independent contractors and they are not agents or employees of Grand China Travel Inc.

To the extent that GCT is involved in booking air and transportation for you, GCT acts as your agent and not as an agent for the air or transportation carrier. However, GCT promises that it will be responsible for the willful or negligent acts of its partner travel agents for the land services.

GCT reserves the right to change the trains and flights that GCT has arranged for you in the itinerary, and GCT will make sure to guarantee your tour going smoothly unless the flights or trains are being cancelled or chartered.

GCT is not responsible for acts of terrorism, political unrest, war, earthquake, landslide, delay or cancellation of the flight or cruises.

GCT is not responsible for any unauthorized extra services that the client requires with the local agent, local guide or the driver temporarily in different cities beyond our confirmed itinerary. In this case, GCT does not accept any responsibility for any losses on shopping, extra attractions, destinations etc, but GCT will try its best to help clients get out of the difficulties including chase compensation if any damages or losses occur.

Photography

GCT reserves the right to take photographs or videos during tours and to use the photography for promotional purposes. By booking with GCT, travelers agree their images can be used in such photography; travelers who prefer their image not be used should advise GCT at the commencement of the tours.
