Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Shenzhen, Meet & Greet at Airport, Transfer to Hotel

Our GCT representative will meet you at the airport and assists you to hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Day trip to Hong Kong, Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Avenue of Stars, Lady Street, Golden Bauhinia Square

After breakfast, we will take train to Hong Kong. Starting to explore Hong Kong from Victoria Peak from which you can bird view the high and crowded buildings of Hong Kong and the busy Victoria Harbor. Then we will visit Repulse Bay which is the sandy beach of having the highest representative characteristics in Hong Kong by its long and broad beach, clean water, fresh sand, calm tide and gentle wave; Avenue of Stars which is built to pay tribute to outstanding professionals of Hong Kong’s film industry and to the names that helped make Hong Kong the “Hollywood of the East”. After doing some shopping at Jewelry Factory shop and Ginseng shop, we will head to Ladies’ Street which is the most well-known local street market. We will visit the Golden Hauhinia Square before taking train back to Shenzhen.

Day 3: Shenzhen, Splendid China, China Ethnic Village

Today's tour of Shenzhen features the Splendid China and China Ethnic Village. Covering an area of about 74 acres, the Splendid China is the most comprehensive and the largest miniature park of China. The Splendid China looks like a large China map, on which there are 82 miniatures of the famous Chinese attractions positioned in a ratio of 1:15. You will find all the landmark buildings in China here such as the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Forbidden City, Huangshan Mountain, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Li River and classical gardens in Suzhou. At China Ethnic Village, we will experience the various kinds of cultures of the 56 ethnic groups in China. Here, 25 villages of 22 groups were replicated in a ratio of 1:1 and villagers all dress in colorful national costumes. 

Day 4: Drive to Guangzhou, Chen Family Temple, Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Five Ram Statue, Jade Museum, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Shamian Island

After breakfast at hotel we will visit the Chen Family Temple. This 100-year-old temple was once the ancestral temple and study of 72 Chen families in Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the temple, having a rectangular structure as its main building, comprises 19 buildings. It is known for its beautiful decoration, which combines wood- carving, brick carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, ash sculpture, brass and iron foundry, grotto, new year painting and other art forms. We will also visit the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-san and Five Ram Statue located inside the Yuexiu Park. In the afternoon we will visit the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Qingping Market and Shamian Island. The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is famous for the Flowery Pagoda. Shamian Island has a unique feature with about 150 buildings of European styles. European style restaurants, cafes and bars are located along the roads in the Shamian Island. 

Day 5: Departure from Guangzhou

Free at leisure before departure in Guangzhou. Transfer to the airport based on your departure flight. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose our other Tour Packages as an extension to your China adventure!

Day 4: Pearl River cruise & night view of Guangzhou, USD40 per person

The Pearl River night cruise is unique to Guangzhou, cruising on a luxury boat along the Pearl River and enjoy the enchanting landscapes on both banks of Pearl River. You can stand on the deck and feel the breeze of the river on your face and hear the sound of water splashing against the side of the ship. The Pearl River is composed of three river systems including the East River, the West River, and the North Riverr. The three river systems converge in Guangzhou, resulting in fascinating vistas. At night, under sparkling lights, the boat carrying passengers depart from the Xidi Wharf near the People's Bridge, sailing eastward, passing the Liberation Bridge, Haizhu Bridge, Haiyin Bridge, Guangzhou Bridge, and Hedong Bridge, before returning to the wharf.
