    Tour Introduction
    Guangzhou, located at the north of the Pearl River delta, is an important trading center as well as a busy port and the capital city of the province of Guandong. The city has an area of over 16,000 square kilometers and a population of 6.7 million. Guangzhou is nicknamed Goat City for the legend that five gods riding on five goats brought the first grain to the city.
     
    After breakfast at hotel, our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby and take you to the Chen Family Temple. This 100-year-old temple was once the ancestral temple and study of 72 Chen families in Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the temple, having a rectangular structure as its main building, comprises 19 buildings. It is known for its beautiful decoration, which combines wood- carving, brick carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, ash sculpture, brass and iron foundry, grotto, new year painting and other art forms. After lunch we will visit the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-san, Yuexiu Park, Five Ram Statue. Finally we will do shopping at Beijing Road.
     
    It's a busy day, but will also include a visit to Jade Factory for a shopping experience not to be missed.
