		Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

Accommodations: Holiday Inn Express Zhabei Shanghai or similar (please email us your choice of hotel if you have)

We will visit the specially selected garden, the Garden of the Master of Nets. This garden is the most exquisite and the best-preserved garden in all old residential gardens in Suzhou. The most striking feature of Garden of the Master of the Nets is its use of space. Small as its size is, the scale of the building is large, but nothing appears cramped. After cruising on the ancient Grand Canal which was constructed in the Sui Dynasty (AD581-AD618) as a waterway to ship the produce of Southeast China to the capital of Beijing, we will visit the Silk Factory and the Tiger Hill. Drive to Shanghai late in the afternoon.

Day 3: Shanghai, The Bund, Nanjing Road, Yuyuan Garden, Chenghuanmiao Market, People's Square, Shanghai Museum, Xintiandi

		Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

Accommodation: Holiday Inn Express Zhabei Shanghai or similar (please email us your choice of hotel if you have)

Optional Tour: Huangpu River cruise & night view of Shanghai

We will visit the Yuyuan Garden and its nearby Chenghuangmiao Market in the morning. Yuyuan Garden is an attractive labyrinth of over 30 Ming-dynasty pavilions, built in 1577 for Pan Yunduan, the governor of Sichuan. Linking the pavilions are elaborate rockeries, arched bridges and carp-laden ponds. It is a fine spot for a gentle saunter after fighting our way through the markets stalls. Where the garden meets the bazaar is an ornamental lake traversed by the Bridge of Nine Turnings, its zigzag shape designed to prevent evil spirits from crossing the water. In the afternoon we will stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road to appreciate early 19th century European Style architectures. We will also visit the People’s Square and one of the best museums in China, the Shanghai Museum. Later we will visit the Xintiandi. Located near the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Xintiandi is a newly developed recreation area in Shanghai with old styled Shikumen buildings.

Day 4: Drive to Hangzhou, West Lake Cruise, Dragon Well Tea Plantation, Six Harmonies Pagoda

		Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

Accommodations: Jasmine International Hotel or similar (please email us your choice of hotel if you have)

Drive to Hangzhou in the morning. Upon arrival we will visit the West Lake. Held on three sides in the embrace of hilly peaks, the West Lake has been an attraction for centuries and it had been a favorite imperial retreat in the ancient times. The lake and its environs have all the elements of a traditional Chinese garden but on a grand scale. The natural setting of strangely shaped peaks, serene forests and springs, dense foliage and a myriad of blossoms especially in springtime are enhanced by a treasury of sculpture and architectural features. Later we will visit the Longjing Tea Plantation. This plantation is lying on Fenghuang Hill with a wide area of water and is rich in spring water. Longjing actually means, "Dragon Well" and according to legend, the Dragon Well was discovered in about 230AD. Known for its greenness, fragrance, mellow taste, and beauty of tea leaves, Longjing Tea tops the ten renowned teas in China. Later we will visit Six Harmonies Pagoda.
