Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou, Meet & Greet at Airport, Transfer to Hotel

Our GCT representative will meet you at the airport and assists you to hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Chen Family Temple, Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Five Ram Statue, Jade Museum, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Qingping Market, Shamian Island

After breakfast at hotel we will visit the Chen Family Temple. This 100-year-old temple was once the ancestral temple and study of 72 Chen families in Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the temple, having a rectangular structure as its main building, comprises 19 buildings. It is known for its beautiful decoration, which combines wood- carving, brick carving, stone carving, clay sculpture, ash sculpture, brass and iron foundry, grotto, new year painting and other art forms. We will also visit the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-san and Five Ram Statue located inside the Yuexiu Park. In the afternoon we will visit the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Qingping Market and Shamian Island. The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is famous for the Flowery Pagoda. Qingping Market provides a vast collection of Chinese medicine, agricultural and sideline products. Shamian Island has a unique feature with about 150 buildings of European styles. European style restaurants, cafes and bars are located along the roads in the Shamian Island. 

Day 3: Ersha Island, Xinghai Concert Hall, Zhujiang New City & Citic Square

Besides the classical Guangzhou, it's also worth to experience its new & modern side, which will be presented to you in today's itinerary. We will first have a wonderful sightseeing coach tour to Ersha Island and nearby Xinghai Concert Hall - a piece of beautiful art work, followed by a photo stop at the grand Zhujiang New City & Citic Square. Before lunch, we will do some shopping at Bamboo Carbon Store. The rest of the day will be devoted to Shangxiajiu Shopping Street as well as Tee Mall – the biggest shopping mall in Guangzhou.

Day 4: Departure from Guangzhou

Free at leisure before departure in Guangzhou. Transfer to the airport based on your departure flight. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose our other Tour Packages as an extension to your China adventure!

Day 2: Pearl River cruise & night view of Guangzhou, USD40 per person

The Pearl River night cruise is unique to Guangzhou, cruising on a luxury boat along the Pearl River and enjoy the enchanting landscapes on both banks of Pearl River. You can stand on the deck and feel the breeze of the river on your face and hear the sound of water splashing against the side of the ship. The Pearl River is composed of three river systems including the East River, the West River, and the North Riverr. The three river systems converge in Guangzhou, resulting in fascinating vistas. At night, under sparkling lights, the boat carrying passengers depart from the Xidi Wharf near the People's Bridge, sailing eastward, passing the Liberation Bridge, Haizhu Bridge, Haiyin Bridge, Guangzhou Bridge, and Hedong Bridge, before returning to the wharf. This section of the river offer visitors vistas such as "the Red Heart of the Pearl River", "the Spring Dawning on the East Lake", "Wall of Sails at Huangpu", and "Night Moon over the Goose Pond", which are among Guangzhou's top eight sights; it also provides views of the Southern Building, Aiqun Building, Guangzhou Hotel, Huaxia Hotek, Jiangwan Hotel, Ersha Haizhu Plaza Garden, the White Swan Hotel, and Shamian Foreign-style Building Complex. The cruise takes approximately two hours.
